Extension of Apache Tika with Industrial File Formats Text Extraction
Rešetár, René ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Rychlý, Marek (advisor)
The goal of the bachelor's thesis was to extend the parsers of the Apache Tika project with data and table extraction from industrial document formats from laboratory instruments. These data will be stored in a structured format according to a certain scheme. In the theoretical part, the supplied industrial formats, the Apache Tika project and the possibilities of its expansion were examined. In the practical part, a tool was designed and implemented, which classifies documents using the Apache Tika project, processes them, creates structured data from them in the JSON format and subsequently validates them. Finally, a set of tests was created to verify and demonstrate the properties of the solution.
Android Music Player with the Song Selection by a Device Context
Global Meteorological Data Analysis
Gerych, Petr ; Chmelař, Petr (referee) ; Hlosta, Martin (advisor)
The thesis generally describes matters of data warehouses and knowledge discovery in databases. Then it focuses on the meteorological databases and their problems. The practical part of thesis describes design methods for data mining project, NOAA Global Surface Summary of the Day (GSOD), which is then implemented in two different ways using the Pentaho tools. Finally, an evaluation and comparison of these two approaches.
Ssh Attacks Detection on Netflow Layer
Marek, Marcel ; Barabas, Maroš (referee) ; Michlovský, Zbyněk (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis briefly describes the basic principles of SSH protocol, its architecture and used encryption. The thesis is mainly focused on datamining information from low-level network communication and usage of its results for attacks detection. It also describes dictionary attacks used on SSH service and with NetFlow shows further possibilities of increasing network security.
Attributes Calculating for Prediction of Effects of Mutation on Protein Function
Matějíček, Jiří ; Burgetová, Ivana (referee) ; Jaša, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the bioinformatics techniques for the acquisition of attributes useful for prediction of mutation effects on the protein function. The work primarily aims to develop a user-friendly application for calculation of attributes of mutations from the protein sequence and structure. The developed application serves for integration of specialized tools such as FoldX. The standardized interface enables to implement additional computational tools and collect a diverse set of attributes from different sources. These attribute sets can then serve as an input for different prediction methods and help to improve predictions of mutation effects.
Regression analysis in estimation of heart position in recording system of electrodes
Mackových, Marek ; Kolářová, Jana (referee) ; Ronzhina, Marina (advisor)
This work focuses on the regression analysis of morphological parameters calculated from the ECG for estimating the position of the heart to the measuring electrodes. It consists of a theoretical analysis of the problems of ECG recording and description of the data obtained from experiments on isolated animal hearts. On the theoretical part is followed by a description of the calculation parameters suitable for regression analysis and their application in the training and testing of the following regression models to estimate the position of the heart to the measuring electrode.
Data Mining
Slezák, Milan ; Hynčica, Ondřej (referee) ; Honzík, Petr (advisor)
The thesis is focused on an introduction of data mining. Data mining is focused on finding of a hidden data correlation. Interest in this area is dated back to the 60th the 20th century. Data analysis was first used in marketing. However, later it expanded to more areas, and some of its options are still unused. One of methodologies is useful used for creating of this process. Methodology offers a concise guide on how you can create a data mining procedure. The data mining analysis contains a wide range of algorithms for data modification. The interest in data mining causes that number of data mining software is increasing. This thesis contains overviews some of this programs, some examples and assessment.

Porovnání výpočetní složitosti vybraných algoritmů pro dolování znalosti z dat
Matzke, Miroslav
Matzke, M. Comparison of Computational Complexity of Selected Data Mining Algorithms, Diploma Thesis. Brno, 2018. This diploma thesis deals with the comparison of the time complexity and the success of the classification of selected algorithms for mining knowledge from data with focus on neural networks and optimal settings for work execution. In the theoretical part, it is essential to get acquainted with the distribution of algorithms, their functionality and complexity. Then follows the selection of algorithms with focus on neural networks and their settings, especially hidden layers, momentum and learning rate. Another part deals with data used for experimental testing, which are both nominal and numerical data, and also real or generated. Also included is the accuracy of measurement and performance measurement of the two assemblies used to test individual experiments. The third part is the testing of the time complexity and the percentage success of the algorithms and the output especially in graphical form followed by analysis and recommendations from the results with focus on the optimal setting against the automatic and initial settings.
